Below are links to a crossword puzzle to review financial statement analysis concepts in financial accounting – and links to a word search puzzle to review the same concepts. I figured many of us are heading into the financial statement analysis chapter right now, so I thought I would share these puzzles I created for my classes. Each puzzle type has a link to a puzzle with the solution enabled and the other link does not have a solution button.

Financial statement analysis crossword puzzle: Share this link with your students to have them work on the puzzle without access to the solution.

Financial statement analysis crossword puzzle with solution: This link contains the crossword puzzle with a “Reveal” button that lets you reveal one word at a time. There is also a “Solution” button that displays the entire solution. In addition, in the lower right corner of this puzzle is a button “PDF” that allows you to print a PDF of the crossword puzzle for a handout. (The PDF button is a little hard to see but it is there.)

Financial statement analysis word search: Share this link with your students to have them work on the word search without access to the solution.

Financial statement analysis word search with solution: This link contains the word search with “Solution” button that displays the entire solution. In addition, in the lower right corner of this puzzle is a button “PDF” that allows you to print a PDF of the word search for a handout. (The PDF button is a little hard to see but it is there.)

As always, I hope you find these puzzles to be useful with your classes. I have found these fun to share in class when you have a few extra minutes. I usually give students a link that they can work on and then I share my screen and I have students tell me what to fill in for each word/clue.
